The rules for accessing and using the CertyAcademy online training service.
Version: CERTYACADEMY-LEGAL-2026-10-25
1. Purpose
These general terms of use (the Terms) govern access to and use of the CertyAcademy online training service, part of the CERTYNEX ecosystem.
To create an account or join a group by invitation, you expressly accept the Terms and the privacy policy by ticking a box; the version and date of your acceptance are kept.

Contact: contact@certynex.com.
2. Account
Your account is personal. The service is reserved for adults (aged 18 or over). You provide your first name, last name and an e-mail address that you actually use, and choose a password of at least 10 characters.
Your address is confirmed by a 6-digit code sent by e-mail; a code is also requested at each sign-in. You keep your password and codes confidential and tell us without delay of any use you did not make.
A sign-up whose code was not entered is deleted after 7 days.
3. Group accounts (company or firm)
The person who creates a group becomes its administrator. They declare that they act on behalf of the company or firm indicated and guarantee the accuracy of its corporate name and, where applicable, its ICE.
Opening group access is subject to a contract between CERTYNEX and the company or firm. That contract sets, in particular, the financial terms and includes a personal data processing agreement. For relations between CERTYNEX and the group, it prevails over these Terms in the event of conflict.
The administrator invites collaborators by e-mail and assigns learning paths to them. They invite only people who have a legitimate interest in training within the group.
A collaborator joins the group by accepting the invitation. The organization sees their progress only on the trainings it assigns to them, within the limits of the information text shown when joining. The base tracking (assigned trainings, lessons completed, exam results) is inherent in the training organized by the group. The detailed tracking (quiz scores, estimated time spent, last activity) is optional: the collaborator may refuse or withdraw it at any time, with no effect on their access to the trainings. They may also leave the group at any time.
4. Trial and plans
A trial period may be offered; its length and the standards opened are stated at sign-up. The plans and their conditions are presented on the Plans page.
For individuals, the price of each plan, including all taxes, is stated before any order. For groups, the financial, payment and invoicing terms are set by the group contract. Online payment is not yet offered; its terms, and consumers’ right of withdrawal, will be set out here before it opens.
5. Content and intellectual property
CertyAcademy’s lessons, exercises, cases, worksheets and exams are original, protected educational content. They are open to you for your personal training use, for the duration of your access.
The IFRS Standards belong to the IFRS Foundation: CertyAcademy cites their paragraph references and offers educational summaries, without reproducing their text. “IFRS” and “IAS” are trademarks of the IFRS Foundation; CertyAcademy is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the IFRS Foundation.
Copying, automated extraction, resale or making the content available to third parties, and sharing your account, are prohibited.
6. Nature of the service
CertyAcademy is a training service. Its content is neither professional advice nor an accounting, legal or tax opinion, and does not replace reading the standards or professional judgement. Some content is still under review; we correct the errors reported to us.
7. Acceptable use
You do not use the service to bypass its security measures, probe its limits without permission, disrupt its operation, create accounts in bulk or impersonate anyone.
8. Availability
We use our best efforts to keep the service continuously available. It may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or incidents; we give advance notice of scheduled interruptions. If the service is unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days for a cause attributable to us, the duration of your paid access is extended accordingly.
9. Personal data
How your personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Suspension and closure
You may delete your account at any time from the Account page: your data are then erased, except only the data kept for security and abuse prevention described in § 6 of the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach of the Terms, after notifying you by e-mail of the alleged breach and giving you 15 days to remedy it or submit your observations. In an emergency (harm to the security of the service or to the rights of third parties), suspension may be immediate; you are then notified of it with its reasons. Paid access interrupted through no fault of yours is refunded pro rata.
11. Liability
We are bound by an obligation of means in providing the service. As the content is educational (§ 6), we are not liable for professional, accounting, tax or financial decisions made on its basis, nor for indirect damage. For professional users, our liability is limited, for all causes combined, to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to it. These limitations do not apply in the event of fraud or gross negligence, nor where a mandatory rule, in particular of consumer protection, prohibits them.
12. Changes to the terms
The Terms may change. A new version bears a new number and is presented to you; you are notified of it at least 30 days before it takes effect, except for a change required by law. If you do not accept it, you may close your account before that date; any current paid access is then refunded pro rata.
13. Governing law and disputes
The Terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of difficulty, write to us first at contact@certynex.com: we will seek an amicable solution. Failing that, any dispute with a professional user falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tangier. A consumer keeps the benefit of mandatory rules and of the courts of their place of residence.
